Marzena Diakun rapidly gained international acclaim after substituting Mikko Franck for several concerts with Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France during her assistantship in Paris in the 2015/16 season. Some of these concerts were broadcasted by France Musique and Medici.tv.
She approved her international level receiving second prize at the prestigious 59th Prague Spring Competition for Conductors in Czech Republic and second prize at the 9th Fitelberg International Competition for Conductors in Poland (2012). She was finalist of the 4th International Lutoslawski Conducting Competition (2006) and semifinalist for both Donatella Flick Conductors Competition in London and Quadaques Competition in Barcelona (2008).

Recently, Diakun recorded with Orchestre L'Ile de France music for the tv series "Philharmonia", which will appear in February, on France 2 channel.
Soon, the new Diakun's CD will appear with K. Sikorski Symphony No. 1, recorded with National Philharmonic in Warsaw.
